Management controller

The purpose of this position

The role of the Management Controller is to conduct in-depth profitability analyses by product and customer, and to provide informed conclusions and strategic recommendations. He actively participates in the analysis of commercial activities by assessing the impacts of volumes and prices, identifying price deterioration trends, and examining turnover trends. In addition, he is responsible for setting up dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to effectively monitor business performance.

Key relationships

  • The incumbent reports to the Finance and Administration Director.
  • He actively collaborates with other departments of the company.

Job description

  • Participate in budget planning and periodic forecasts and monitor them monthly
  • Prepare and monitor dashboards and performance indicators
  • Carry out cost calculations for feasibility studies (EDF)
  • Determine the profitability of the products of the company and profit margins in collaboration with the sales department
  • Prepare pricing proposals.
  • Prepare the reconciliation and monitoring of invoicing related to milk purchases
  • Invoicing of services in cost sharing with our partners
  • Monitoring of inventory counts and valuation
  • Monitoring the profitability of transport

Job requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • BAC in accounting, finance or other field relevant
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/processing operations, product costing
  • Experience in the dairy industry (asset)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Real mastery of Excel software
  • Be rigorous, have an eye for detail and be proactive
  • Know how to organize yourself and communicate well with colleagues and superiors
  • Industrial knowledge (asset)
