The challenges await you:

Under the supervisory supervision of the immediate supervision, you ensure the management and monitoring of the police service of the City of Laval, you will mainly have:

  • collaborate closely with the internal applicants of the Laval Police Service for the management of their contracts (followed by the contract deadlines, technical quotation preparation, follow-up of tender processes, collaboration for contract negotiations. tenders received, participation in weighting committees, control of deliverables related to contracts, respect for laws and standards established by the City);
  • collaborate closely with the supply service relating to the follow-up of current contracts and the establishment of P strategies for the management of new contracts for the police department;
  • perform the compilation and update of the different tables of current contracts and future contracts for the police service;
  • Participate in different meetings with existing suppliers (measurement, contract tracking, service assessment) and potential suppliers for new ongoing contracts (contact with the supplier, assessment of goods and services offered, negotiation according to The standards established by the city)
  • prepare technical quotes in collaboration with the various applicants of the Laval Police Service.
  • Analyze the needs, formulates the requirements and estimates the costs of the contract.

The desired profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or any other related field;
  • own five (5) years of relevant experience in contract management and follow-up;
  • be recognized for its rig and its sense of partnership;
  • have good planning and analysis capacity;
  • be skillful to handle multiple folders simultaneously.
