Job Level

NV-09As a management information advisor, you help extract data and produce reports and indicators for the organization by developing and administering information systems. You analyze and adapt management systems based on the organization’s changing needs. You advise and assist clients and partners as part of intervention and development initiatives. You recommend solutions to improve or optimize standards, policies and programs. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work. You prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans based on the organization’s objectives and priorities. You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential.

General Information on the Position

Additional responsibilities

  • Support users by handling operational problems
  • Find solutions to problems to ensure continuity of operations
  • Communicate with users and explain the impact of changes in how our systems work
  • Coordinate the creation of new accounts and ensure consistency in relation to client and business sector needs
  • Identify and monitor anomalies and change requests with providers and IT
  • Develop and conduct test scenarios for the implementation of patches and for upgrade requests
  • Recommend improvements to existing procedures
  • Respond to client questions about the data in our reports
  • Help with providers' business continuity plans and succession plans
  • Manage permissions for certain applications
  • Explain to stakeholders from various sectors how our systems and processes work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required 

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of the Eagle system (an asset)
  • Proficient speaker, advanced knowledge of English
