Internal Sales Representative

TRACTION QUEBEC CHAINS LTD, a company located in Montreal East with more than 20 employees, comprising two divisions engaged in the manufacture of metal products and the distribution of industrial hardware, is seeking a team person to fill a new position of Internal Sales Representative.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Board, the candidate will be given the responsibility to take on all the tasks required to ensure quality customer service, including order taking, after-sales service and business development.

More specifically, the position consists of:

  • Take orders and enter information into the computer system
  • Give price and other information (confirmation of dates, deliveries and order receipt)
  • Make submissions via the computer system and send them to the client
  • Track customer quotes / orders
  • Transmit important information to the sales department and production planning
  • Respond to after-sales service calls, provide the information needed to fill the requests in the shortest possible time
  • Solve customer issues as part of their field of expertise
  • Participate actively in handling complaints
  • Prospect new customers and relaunch existing customers
  • Be called to do some research on the internet
  • Be called to ensure the presence of the company in the activities likely to make it shine (exhibitions or others)
  • Attend department meetings
  • Participate in the development of sales and promotional tools
  • Work with purchasing and production teams
  • Sit on the Management Board

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in Administration or other relevant training
  • 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing context
  • Knowledge of the steel industry and / or industrial hardware, an asset
  • Computer skills (Office Suite)
  • Be organized, autonomous, initiative and customer satisfaction
  • French and English Bilingualism
