The selected person will assist the lawyers in performing all tasks related to those of the Legal Assistant. She must be perfectly bilingual, organized and have initiative. It must also provide high quality service and have strong interpersonal skills. This job requires precision and a keen eye for detail.
Writing and editing letters, conventions, contracts and any other document dictated or prepared in Word, Excel, Powerpoint or Outlook software; Preparing procedures if the position belongs to the litigation group; > Reformatting, scanning, printing, photocopying and faxing various documents; Preparing comparison documents with Workshare Compare software; Making data entries in InterAction; Working in collaboration with lawyers (e) in certain business development projects; Manage the Outlook calendar occasionally Make time entries in the CMS software Prepare account projects (prebills) and monthly invoices Prepare electronic fence books; Print various documents from « data rooms » virtual data rooms; Any other legal administrative tasks.
Requirements / skills required;
0 to 5 years of experience, depending on the requirements of the position; High level of bilingualism; Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 2010 suite; Ability to manage priorities; /> Excellent organizational and initiative skills; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Respect for deadlines; Good analytical skills, problem-solving and judgment ; Autonomy, discretion and professionalism; Flexibility, team spirit and skill for interpersonal communication; Knowledge of DM and CMS software an asset.
