NV-10As a senior advisor, data analysis in wealth management and life and health insurance, you help develop and use tools and methods to collect, compile, model and restore the organization's physical and non-physical data to establish governance, help decision-makers understand the big picture and inform decisions.You lead and influence development projects and strategic initiatives that are complex and innovative. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with a large number of stakeholders working in a variety of fields. Highly developed interpersonal skills are therefore essential.You serve as a specialist advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies.
General Information on the Position
Main responsabilities
Advise your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives.
Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
Identify and analyze major problems and issues, develop diagnostics and make recommendations to the decision-making bodies concerned.
Represent your unit in dealings with decision-making bodies.
Represent Desjardins Group's position when reaching agreements with external partners and organizations.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience in business intelligence and/or management information and/or data analysis
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
Specific knowledge
Knowledge of SAS and SQL
Knowledge of databases (SQL)
Knowledge of the financial and insurance sector (an asset)
