Job description:

- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources and labor relations strategies, including policies, programs and procedures to meet the organization's resource needs human.

- Inform employers and employees on the interpretation of policies relating to human resources, compensation, benefit plans and collective agreements.

- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or employees, act as mediator in labor disputes and grievances, and provide advice on employee relations and labor relations.

- Develop job classifications, job descriptions and salary scales, as well as competency measures and evaluation systems, and carry out the necessary research for this purpose.

- Plan and administer staffing and total compensation plans, as well as training and professional development, employee assistance, employment equity and affirmative action programs.

- Manage programs and update human resources information and related records management systems.

- Recruit staff and ensure their training.

- Coordinate the employee performance evaluation program.

- Conduct research on benefits, health and safety practices and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies.

- Other job-related tasks.
