The tasks to be accomplished:
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources and labour relations strategies, including policies, programs and procedures in order to meet the human resources needs of the organization.
- Educate employers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies, compensation, benefit plans and collective agreements.
- Provide advice on employee relations and labour relations. work.
- Develop job classifications, job descriptions and salary scales, as well as competency assessment measures and systems, and conduct the necessary research for this purpose.
- Plan and administer staffing and total compensation plans, as well as training and professional development, employee assistance, employment equity and affirmative action programs.
- Manage programs and update human resources information and related records management systems.
- Other tasks related to the job.
