Human Resources Business Partner

The purpose of this position

As a Business Partner within the Riviera team, you will play a central role alongside leaders and employees, contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives from a human perspective, acting as a catalyst for HR programs, talent development, organizational values, and culture. You will use your extraordinary interpersonal skills and passion for being an ambassador to help us adapt and excel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Maison Riviera management, senior executives, and other managers to implement strategies for talent acquisition and development, compensation, health and safety, culture, and leadership;
  • Support managers in the growth, management, and development of their teams, as well as in the recruitment and integration process for new employees, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic needs.
  • Contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives and implement transformation activities that have a lasting impact on our managers and employees;
  • Build a relationship of trust with leaders to understand the company's strategy. the business and translate it into meaningful activities;
  • Provide consultative support on complex labor and employee relations issues and encourage communication between managers and employees;
  • Analyze, propose, and present key performance indicators to report to management teams on progress and the support needed for success;
  • Work closely with all business partners to ensure a robust service offering and maximize the sharing of best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations (health and safety, data protection, labor standards, etc.).

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources/partnerships business;
  • A graduate degree or diploma in human resources or equivalent training;
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems;
  • Expertise in payroll, benefits, and labor relations, including conflict management;
  • A reputation for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Excellent ability to lead initiatives and navigate ambiguity;
  • Demonstrate leadership and influence;
  • Strong organizational and work planning skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
