Project Management Assistant - Construction

Papillons Infrastructure Nature, a young incorporation working in the field of the environment and electric mobility, has the mission of building material solutions to meet the challenges of tomorrow's world. We operate one of the largest networks of fast charging stations in Eastern Canada.

Papillons Infrastructure Nature is promoting the position of Project Management Assistant - Construction to support the development of its projects.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Development Department, the Assistant will have the following tasks:

• Assist the Project Manager in project planning and coordination;

• Ensure regular communications with project partners (suppliers, subcontractors, and partners);

• Respond to stakeholder requests;

• Participate in project meetings and monitor actions to be taken;

• Participate in the preparation of project documents;

• Maintain documentation accurate, organized, and up-to-date project planning;

• Produce project layout drawings;

• Monitor and process the approval process required for construction;

• Receive and process project bids and invoices;

• Produce and process purchase orders;

• Coordinate the administrative process for projects with the administrative department.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of construction and/or physical infrastructure deployment.

• Exceptional customer service skills;

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365;

• Experience using a project management system ;

• Experience with electric vehicles and their charging (an asset);

• Experience using project management software (an asset).

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines;

• Ability to write quickly and concisely;

• Autonomy, sense of responsibility, good judgment, and resourcefulness;

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;

• Excellent organizational and time management skills;

• Fluency in French, both oral and written;

• Experience working with CAD plans (an asset)

• Experience consulting electrical and civil plans (an asset) asset)

• Fluency in spoken and written English (an asset);

• Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license and be available for occasional travel.

Conditions and Benefits

• Salary: commensurate with experience

• Start date: September 2025

• Contract type: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week)

• Location: Offices in Mile-End and remote work

• Some meetings may require a physical presence at Papillons' offices or in other municipalities, and you will be asked to attend various events across Quebec.
