IT Operations Manager

Full-time, permanent position with a key strategic and operational role.
Based in Quebec City or Montreal
Occasional travel within our network (Montérégie, Laurentians, Outaouais)
The role is primarily based in Laval, with occasional travel to Saint-Sauveur and Gatineau.

What we are looking for
Job Description
Reporting to the IT Director, you are the conductor of technological operations.
You don't just manage — you optimize, structure, and elevate.
Specifically, you will:
- Take charge of all IT operations (infrastructure, networks, security, support)
- Mobilize, mentor, and develop your technical teams
- Ensure optimal and continuous performance of critical systems
- Manage major incidents with composure, rigor, and efficiency
- Monitor KPIs, SLA and ensure a high level of service quality.
Structuring and optimizing processes (change management, continuous improvement, governance).
Optimizing IT supplier and cost management.
Strengthening cybersecurity and business continuity plans.
Actively contributing to strategic IT decisions.
Ensuring compliance with security and compliance standards.
Developing, maintaining, and testing backup and business continuity plans.
Providing technical support to users when required for network or system-related issues, including remote or on-site troubleshooting, incident resolution, and advice and training (particularly in...). cybersecurity)

The Profile We Are Looking For
Experience
- 7+ years in IT
- 3+ years in team or operations management
- Experience in a multi-site environment (essential)
- Certifications (an asset): ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Azure
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Conditions
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- On-site work
- Occasional travel (vehicle required)
- 3-month probationary period
Availability
- On-call duty (evenings and weekends, depending on operational needs)
- Availability required in case of a major incident
