SERVICE COORDINATOR/DISPATCHER NEEDED!!!
The company has been a provider of Power Product solutions to Canadian
businesses since 1983. Starting as a Service organization focused on
maintaining Emergency Standby Generators, we have grown to an
organization that provides end to end Generator and Engine solutions.
Our experienced Service technicians are thoroughly trained on
maintenance and repair for natural gas and diesel powered engines and
generators, transfer switches, and fuel systems. Also in the field, we
have a projects team that supports our customers’ needs for turnkey
generator and fuel system installations. Our solutions are cost
effective and leverage our field experience to ensure our customers
receive a solution that works.
We are positioned for significant growth, and we are currently
looking for an enthusiastic and organized Service Coordinator to
manage and plan the work schedules of our Service Technician team. The
main objective of the Service Coordinator will be to maximize revenue
by fully utilizing and scheduling our Service Technician fleet, while
ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
Main Responsibilities:
* In cooperation with the Service Manager, schedule and supervise the
activities of the Service Technician team
* Provide superior internal/external customer service and maintain
high quality standards in all activities including all methods of
communications
* Utilize the business tools provided (Abacus, Microsoft Excel and
FileMaker), to monitor Service Technician performance and report
revenue and efficiency levels to the Service Manager
* Provide remedial quotation activity from Service Technicians to the
Service Manager
* Produce timely delivery of remedial estimates/quotations to
customers
* Responsible for conducting follow ups with customers to determine
if they will proceed with the recommended work
* Maintenance of physical service files, Abacus customer files, and
various digital databases
* In cooperation with the Contracts Group; provide service contract
quotations to customers and follow up in a timely fashion
* Assist as required, in updating service contracts
* Enter Invoices and Work Orders into system
* Update and maintain the Labor Log
* Perform AP/AR, and alpha‐numeric filing duties as required
* Performing all duties in a safe manner; reading and following all
Genrep Health & Safety policies
* Following all company policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned and/or required by business needs
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Reports to: Director, Service
Desired Skill, Knowledge, and Experience:
* Minimum three (3) years’ work experience in a similar
administrative capacity
* Exceptional organizational skills, with a creative ability and
solid business acumen
* Computer proficiency with a thorough knowledge of MS Office and
social media tools (texting, skype, etc.)
* Team player with superior time management, skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both verbally and
in writing in English
* Good mechanical and electrical aptitude
* Ability to work independently, show initiative and practice solid
decision making
