Administrative Assistant, Consulting Services

Make your mark on our Consulting Services team as an Administrative Assistant. This diverse team of professionals contributes directly to the success of our firm through its support of internal and external clients. As a trusted advisor, you will ensure that our business runs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage associate calendars and business contacts.
  • Schedule business meetings.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, reservations and associate expense reports.
  • Maintain the firm's client database.
  • Prepare communications, tools and weekly reports using Office suite software;
  • Actively participate in the invoicing process for external clients and in monitoring work in progress and accounts receivable;
  • Perform faxing, printing, scanning and filing tasks.
  • Support other members of the administrative team and replace them, as needed.
  • Participate in the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work procedures.

Titles and skills

  • Hold an AEC or a DEC in office automation, DEP in secretarial work or the equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant in a professional environment or in customer service.
  • Bilingualism - excellent written and oral communication skills (French and English).
  • Have an excellent command of the MS Office suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.
  • Have the ability to build excellent interpersonal relationships and a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Have a customer service oriented attitude.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage priorities.
  • Knowing how to exercise discretion and a sense of initiative.
