Customer Service Specialist

Kontron Canada is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to efficiently manage customer orders.

 

Kontron's embedded computing systems interact with a wide variety of devices in rugged environments such as avionics, transportation, defense, and telecommunications.

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD:

 

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring seamless order management and an exceptional customer experience. Your role will include:

 

  • Collaborating with planning, logistics and supply chain teams to efficiently process customer orders;
  • Handling order entries or return requests, verifying data, confirming orders, and tracking deliveries;
  • Keeping customer records up to date to ensure data accuracy;
  • Prioritizing orders based on customer needs and business interests while meeting delivery commitments;
  • Coordinating with the logistics department for precise shipping instructions and maintaining records in SAP;
  • Promoting positive relationships with external customers, internal teams, and working effectively within a group;
  • Resolving issues related to order processing or shipping delays by communicating with other departments;
  • Managing any other related tasks with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

 

 

YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE:

  • Education: Cegep degree in office automation or an equivalent degree;
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge in business accounting, proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and intermediate skills in Excel;
  • Experience: A least three years of experience in a customer service or order entry position;
  • Asset: Experience with SAP or another company system;
  • Competencies: Customer focused, flexible, attentive to details, sense of urgency; time management and priority management skills, ability to work in a team, interpersonal skills and organizational skills; curiosity and willing to become knowledgeable about company products; wishing to contribute to the growing department’s capabilities, which may include assisting to building more scalable processes, supporting documentation and/or metric needs;
  • Profile: Be proactive and mobilize resources, both external and internal, in order to develop a solid culture of customer service based on accountability and transparency at all levels of the organization;
  • Languages: Advanced proficiency in both spoken and written French and English to effectively communicate with international salesmen and customers.
