Main tasks and responsibilities
- Prepare and modify various legal documents (resolutions, updating minute books)
- Carry out publications, filings and registration in public registers such as the REQ and Corporations Canada;
- Provide support to legal teams in file management, ensuring that files are complete and follow-ups and reminders to the entities involved;
- Carry out legal research;
- Revise and proofread legal documents;
- Update company books;
- Carry out certain administrative management tasks;
Profile sought
- Diploma of professional studies (DEP) in secretarial or legal technique, or equivalent diploma in the field of law;
- On the grounds that we serve an English-speaking clientele: Being bilingual orally and in writing (an asset);
- Work experience required in the legal field: 6 to 12 months;
- Work experience in customer service (an asset);
Job Requirements
- Permanent position, full time, 37.5 hours/week;
- Good communication skills;
- Comfortable in a technological environment;
- Autonomy, efficiency, ability to manage several files and sense of organization;
- Ability to work as a team;
